EMERALD CITY

While in Cairns, I had the pleasure of working on a shoot alongside emerging label La Lune, styling and shooting pieces from their recent collection. I just had to scan in the above page from their official campaign imagery, shot by Brisbane photographer Ingela Furustig (in an abandoned pink house nonetheless). On my return to Brisbane, I spoke to Ingela about her unique style of photography, of which she noted that she basically can't shoot without the inclusion of wild and whimsical handmade props. This results in her work having a spirited point of difference, instead of relying on post-editing and filters to create dramatic effect. Yet another talented local photographer to add to my 'must work with' list. Take a look at Ingela x La Lune in the full lookbook series here (my favourite piece = the rhinestone hot pants).
