A WINTER SOIREE

Warm cider punch, cheese fondue and hundreds of vintage fabrics made for a happy visit to the Ra Ra Superstar Winter Soiree last night. The Paddington-based vintage boutique toasted to the new season alongside exhibiting artist Marielle Davis and jazz pop musician Erin Harrington aka Miss Elm.

Game of Thrones fans already know that winter is coming and apparently so does Ra Ra Superstar, with the boutique hosting a horde of vintage lovers playing dress ups in store. Designer Kathy Swedzinski outlined her 2012 plans to grow the label, such as shooting the Winter Collection 'Happy Days', planning more pop up shops (Jess posted about the Sydney shop here) and wholesaling the Summer range.

Another highlight: the sweet sounds of Miss Elm, an emerging Brisbane-based musician who writes songs about 'Facebook stalkers, telemarketers and icecream'. Needless to say, I immediately emptied the contents of my wallet (approx $7.20 in coins) to purchase her self-titled EP, available here
