A newly released line of high-end metals, a patchwork Freja Beha Erichsen and a real-life Kirstie Clements. What more could I ask of a luxe product launch in the heart of Sydney CBD.

One night in Sydney, I skipped down to the Georg Jensen Castlereagh Street store for the launch of the super chic Fusion collection (nothing less can be expected from the revered Scandinavian silversmith). The line was released in collaboration with needlework artist Inge Jacobsen, best known for her cross-stitched Vogue covers. Speaking of Vogue, Australian editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements addressed our intimate gathering on matters of design and fashion, a particular highlight for a fangirl such as myself. Traditionalism and modernism, high-end metals and hand stitching - contrasting design elements that made perfect sense for the luxe Fusion range.
