It was a Tuesday when the buildings on George Street were self-evacuated and a sea of white collars spilled from their cubicles onto the pavement.I found myself pushed aside by the stomping mass of office workers and instead walked in the opposite direction of logic: to the river. The immense power of the water was mesmerising as I witnessed the strange battle between nature and urban science, with submerged metal surrendering to a proud victor. Devastation was in clear sight, but at the time I struggled to comprehend the full extent of the damage.
