Last Thursday night, the SS henchwomen attended the Brisbane fashion industry meetup, heavily laden with blogger paraphernalia (that's a yes to the DSLR and opinions, but without wooden platforms strapped to our feet). The Brunswick Social dinner was organised by Maddy Veenstra, co-founder of Wikifashion and the guest list consisted of a happy bunch of creative types - including fashion students, journalists, graduates and photographers. We munched on dumplings and took part in polite fashion conversation, learning about some new projects that are happening in Brisbane (yay) and meeting a fresh set of internet friends (time to deactivate the Neopets account). Stay tuned for the details of the next meetup!
PS. We'd like to send some good vibes to fellow blogger Sonya Harris from The Swirl & Swing (the red-lipped blonde above right) as she is currently in the the top ten finalists for a magazine comp - in with a chance of scoring a Sydney internship and a tidy sum of cash.

I would just like to contribue a non-fashion related opinion to this blog post: NEOPETS IS THE SHIT. YEAH.
ReplyDeleteIt was so lovely to meet you both! Can't wait for our next meet up :)
